Connecticut Farmhouse

Connecticut

Architectural + Interior Design

The redesign of this 1940 Connecticut estate focused on bringing a charming nature back to the home. Millwork, built-in cabinetry with decorative toe-kicks, a custom plaster kitchen hood, Delft tile, wallpaper, and patinated hardware are among the considered details carried throughout.

Strategic architectural changes were made to restore the home’s original character. Collected antiques and traditional references give the interiors a sense of history, while color, layered textiles, and playful patterns keep the house feeling youthful and personal. A recurring thread of green ties the rooms together, creating a home that feels collected and lived in over time.
